What this module does

Calculate batch summaries against explicitly supplied specification limits. Identify possible outliers while avoiding unsupported automatic rejection.

Intended users

Lead-acid, lithium-ion and other manufacturing data teams

DATA AND METHODS

Inputs, outputs.
Explicit boundaries.

Check the required fields, inspect the reported quantities and review the limits before interpreting a result.

Required measurement context

batch_id, unit_id, metric, value; optional lsl/usl. Declare a measurement unit in exactly one of unit, units, value_unit or metric_unit. Supported compatible units are normalized; incompatible dimensions are rejected. Optional lsl_unit/usl_unit require a declared value unit. When units are omitted, all values and limits for a metric must already use one documented unit.

Computed outputs

Per-batch metrics, out-of-spec observations, duplicate-identifier warnings and descriptive overall Pp/Ppk or one-sided Ppl/Ppu. A null outlier count means the MAD screen is not assessable. Yield or scrap percentages require explicit, consistent unit dispositions; an out-of-spec observation is not automatically scrap.

What these results do not establish

Pp/Ppk are computed with overall sample standard deviation and are not Cp/Cpk. Process stability, sampling independence and measurement-system capability are not established.

For industrial decisions, confirm the method against your instruments, sampling plan and operating conditions.

LOCAL EDITION / PLANNED LICENSES

Choose your user scope.

Choose one named user or up to five named users in one laboratory. Both editions use the same core calculations and documented limits.

Versioned local HTML/JavaScript package, examples, guide and license. Local edition input limits: 12 MB file size and 50,000 records per analysis. Browser availability and exports depend on the tested platform; see installation, limits and known issues. HTML export is disabled. Online purchasing is not yet available. Prices shown are planned launch pricing.
