FormationIQ
See where charge, energy and time go.
Turn formation records into charge, energy and temperature summaries, with clear flags for gaps and inconsistent data.
Explore the free preview and compare planned individual and laboratory licenses for the local edition. Online purchasing is not yet available.
Compare license optionsSynthetic battery-terminal voltage example. Not a measured formation record or recommended charging recipe. Chemistry and cell count are not specified.
What this module does
Integrate signed current and endpoint-sampled power separately, compare observed runs, and inspect gaps or non-monotonic time flags. Voltage itself is not integrated as energy.
Intended users
Process engineers and battery formation laboratories
Inputs, outputs.
Explicit boundaries.
Check the required fields, inspect the reported quantities and review the limits before interpreting a result.
Required measurement context
run_id, exactly one of time_s or time_h, voltage_v and current_a. Optional channel_id and cell_id keep separate channels and cells distinct; every supplied identifier must be filled. temperature_c is optional. Confirm whether positive current means charge for your instrument. A consistent positive max_gap_s per group sets an explicit maximum interval; the automatic cadence rule can exclude additional gaps.
Computed outputs
Positive and negative Ah/Wh throughput · Interval counts · Peak temperature from valid aligned samples · Data issues.
What these results do not establish
Integration does not provide usable capacity, SEI quality, safety margin or recommended charging control. Sign convention and missing intervals must be reviewed.
For industrial decisions, confirm the method against your instruments, sampling plan and operating conditions.
Start with an example.
Inspect the outputs.
Run a labeled example, then review the inputs, methods and limitations for your intended use.
Choose your user scope.
Choose one named user or up to five named users in one laboratory. Both editions use the same core calculations and documented limits.
Versioned local HTML/JavaScript package, examples, guide and license. Local edition input limits: 12 MB file size and 50,000 records per analysis. Browser availability and exports depend on the tested platform; see installation, limits and known issues. HTML export is disabled. Online purchasing is not yet available. Prices shown are planned launch pricing.
Put this workflow
against a factory question.
One agreed historical dataset, a documented analysis and a bounded readout. No automatic production decisions or unmeasured savings promises.
